While we'll be celebrating our wedding in the desert oasis of Los Agaves within Acre Resort, we highly recommend dining at Acre Restaurant on the other side of the property. This jungle-inspired haven offers a unique dining experience that has earned it a Michelin Green Star for its commitment to sustainable cuisine.

Acre Restaurant is renowned for its farm-to-table approach, blending global influences with local ingredients that evolve with the seasons. The lush, tropical setting provides a serene backdrop, making it a perfect spot to unwind and indulge in exceptional dishes.

We encourage you to visit Acre Restaurant during your stay to experience its enchanting atmosphere and culinary delights firsthand.

La Lupita Taco & Mezcal is a vibrant taquería and mezcalería located in the heart of San José del Cabo's Art District. Known for its inventive tacos and extensive mezcal selection, this lively spot often features live music, adding to its fun and welcoming atmosphere.

It’s one of our favorite quick eats in downtown San José del Cabo! We love visiting during the Art Walk, savoring delicious tacos, and sampling the variety of mezcal offerings.

Los Tres Gallos

Renowned for its authentic Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere, Los Tres Gallos features a charming open-air courtyard with colorful décor, creating an inviting and relaxed setting. If you’re looking for a true taste of Mexico, Los Tres Gallos is one of our absolute favorites.

They’re famous for their made-from-scratch tableside Caesar salad (fun fact: Caesar salads were created in Mexico). Inez especially loves their pozole, which brings back memories of her grandmother’s cooking and feels like a warm, nostalgic hug in every bite.

SAGE Baja

The menu features inventive dishes like lobster tortellini and squid ink pasta. Zaia strongly recommends the Hierba Caliente mezcal cocktail with burning sage garnish.

The Office on the Beach

Located right on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, The Office is a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch if you plan on doing a beach day at Medano or Lover's Beach. Eat delicious food (make sure to try their smoothies) with your feet in the sand and good live music playing.

Cabo Pulmo National Park is a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to one of North America’s oldest coral reefs. A two-hour drive from Cabo San Lucas, it’s perfect for snorkeling, diving, or kayaking in crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant marine life. For guests seeking adventure or a peaceful escape into nature, this hidden gem is a must-visit. Plus, it's on Zaia's to-do list of scuba diving locations.

Beach Day in Cabo San Lucas

Please note that most hotels, including Cabo Azul Resort, are located on beaches that are not swimmable due to strong currents and large waves. If you're looking for a swimmable beach, Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas is a great option. It offers calm waters, plenty of nearby restaurants and shops, and water activities like glass-bottom boat tours, parasailing, and more.
