It’s one of our favorite quick eats in downtown San José del Cabo! We love visiting during the Art Walk, savoring delicious tacos, and sampling the variety of mezcal offerings.
Renowned for its authentic Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere, Los Tres Gallos features a charming open-air courtyard with colorful décor, creating an inviting and relaxed setting. If you’re looking for a true taste of Mexico, Los Tres Gallos is one of our absolute favorites.
They’re famous for their made-from-scratch tableside Caesar salad (fun fact: Caesar salads were created in Mexico). Inez especially loves their pozole, which brings back memories of her grandmother’s cooking and feels like a warm, nostalgic hug in every bite.
SAGE Baja, located in San José del Cabo's Art District, reimagines the flavors of Baja California Sur through thoughtfully curated farm-to-table fare and offers a refined open-air dining experience amid towering palms and native trees, showcasing Mexican craftsmanship. Please note that most hotels, including Cabo Azul Resort, are located on beaches that are not swimmable due to strong currents and large waves. If you're looking for a swimmable beach, Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas is a great option. It offers calm waters, plenty of nearby restaurants and shops, and water activities like glass-bottom boat tours, parasailing, and more.
